BARBARA

I am Barbara and I have been Dr. Meyerding's Office Manager since 2002. I love the people I work with, patients and staff. I am here to help you in any way I can.

My prior career was in the Medical field where I worked with the well known neurosurgeon James E. Dunn II, MD for 25 years until he retired in 2002. I am proud of my involvement in the development of the Pacific Spine and Pain Center in Ashland, which helped many people in the Rogue Valley with chronic and acute back and neck problems.

I grew up traveling around the world. My father graduated from West Point in 1943. Our family of 8 lived in 7 different states and 4 countries (Japan, England, France and Germany) while I was growing up. I received my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida. Go GATORS!! I have continued taking classes at SOU and love it.

I moved here to the Rogue Valley in 1976 where I raised a beautiful family on our 16 acre ranch off Wagner Creek. My girls, their families and my 6 grandchildren (how did that happen??) live here in the Rogue Valley. In 2002 my husband and I moved into Medford. Now when I am not at work, I have time with the grandchildren, snow skiing, sailing, traveling or riding my Paint horse, Paige! My husband and I share our home with our 2 Jack Russells, Bailey and Rita.

My name is Denise and I have recently joined Dr. Meyerding’s staff as his dental hygienist.  I moved to the Medford area from Waco, Texas in June 2013.  I have 17 years of experience in the dental field with the last decade being devoted to the dental hygiene profession.  I started my dental career as a dental assistant in 1996, graduating from Texas State Technical College.  A few years later I enrolled in dental hygiene school at Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene.

I have loved my job and profession more than I ever imagined I would.  I have a passion to motivate every patient I meet to have a happy, healthy smile.  My desire is for all of our patients to feel fully educated and assured they will be treated in a comfortable and trusting atmosphere.

My husband and I are enjoying getting to know southern Oregon and its friendly people and have felt very welcomed.  We have two beautiful, very energetic little children, two dogs and two cats.  I personally enjoy jogging, crafts, jewelry making, all kinds of music and reading medical/health journals.  However, most all of my time is devoted to my children.  I stay busy keeping them happy and involved in as many activities as possible.  We are all adjusting to calling Oregon our new home and I am excited to meet “y’all” at your next hygiene visit!

TIFFANY

My name is Tiffany.  I am a Dental Assistant at the office.  I have been employed by Dr. Meyerding since January 2009.  I received my dental assisting education at SODAE, a local dental assisting school which is taught by Deb Silva.  I received my EFDA certification in December 2009.

Prior to working in the dental field, I worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in various health care settings for 6 1/2 years.  I feel a great deal of satisfaction working with the public in the health care field as I feel it gives my life meaning and a purpose.

When I am not working, I am usually engaged in some sort of family activity with my husband and children.  My interests include: shopping, road trips, comedy, music, shoes, movies, friends and family.

JULIE

My name is Julie and I am the newest addition to Dr. Meyerding's staff.  I started working with Dr. Meyerding in November 2010.  I am most likely the person that will have the pleasure of greeting you first when you walk in our door. I have worked in the dental field for over 15 years.  I can't imagine ever doing anything else.  I love this line of work. Great patients and a great staff to work with make it even better.

I moved back to the Rogue Valley in June 2010.  My husband's employer has allowed our family to see some different parts of Oregon over the last 23 years and in our travels we have made alot of wonderful friends. The Rogue Valley is home to me, and almost all of our family is located here now.

I have 3 amazing children.  Our oldest blessed us with a granddaughter this last July. We were able to make a road trip to Alaska to be there when she was born.  Her husband is in the Air Force and they have recently been transferred to Minot, ND.  Our son is a Sophomore in College and lives in the Salem area.  He is a wonderful musician and loves to entertain.  He will be famous someday I know!  Our youngest is a Freshman in college this year and wants to follow her daddy's footsteps and be a state trooper in a few years.  We are very proud of them all.  It's been quite an adjustment having the kids gone, but my husband and I love this time in our lives and enjoy the time we have now to go on dates!

When I have spare time, I love to camp, go on long walks with my Boxer pup Dexter, play tennis, get to the gym whenever time allows and I am a fair weather runner. I love to play the piano, enjoy cooking, entertaining, painting, decorating and spending time with close friends and all my family.

           AUNDREA

My name is Aundrea.  I have been Dr. Meyerding's dental hygienist since May 2013.  I received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene in March 2013 from the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT), Klamath Falls, OR.

I  have lived in the Rogue Valley for 20 years and attended Crater High School.  While attending OIT I played on the Women's Basketball team for four years (and loved every mile).  Currently in my free time I play city league basketball, trail ride on my horse Willy, hike Table Rock, cook new recipes, cuddle with my cat Asher, read a relaxing book and spend quality time with family and friends.

I love  working as a dental hygienist knowing I am helping others become healthier (of course starting with the mouth).  What makes my work even more enjoyable is having wonderful co-workers and patients.  I hope that I have the pleasure of meeting you during one of your visits.
