BARBARA
|
I am Barbara and I have been Dr. Meyerding's Office Manager since 2002. I love the people I work with, patients and staff. I am here to help you in any way I can! I know dental appointments may not be top on your list of fun, but at least the staff will be!
My prior career was in the Medical field where I worked with the well known neurosurgeon James E. Dunn II, MD for 25 years until he retired in 2002. I am proud of my involvement in the development of the Pacific Spine and Pain Center in Ashland, which helped many people in the Rogue Valley with chronic and acute back and neck problems.
I grew up traveling around the world. My father graduated from West Point in 1943. Our family of 8 lived in 7 different states and 4 countries (Japan, England, France and Germany) while I was growing up. I received my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida. Go GATORS!! I have continued taking classes at SOU and love it.
I moved here to the Rogue Valley in 1976 where I raised a beautiful family on our 16 acre ranch off Wagner Creek. My girls, their families and my 6 grandchildren (how did that happen??) live here in the Rogue Valley. In 2002 my husband and I moved into Medford. Now when I am not at work, I am snow skiing, sailing, traveling or riding my Quarter Horse Clark! My husband and I share our home with our 2 Jack Russells, Bailey and Rita.

VICKI
|
I am the dental hygienist who only comes once a month from the Klamath Falls area. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Meyerding since March of 2001. I am retired, but Dr. Meyerding and Barbara sweet talk me to work two days a month. I must admit the great patients and wonderful staff makes it hard for me to hang up my scalers.
Our family moved to Klamath Falls in 1985 when my husband transfered from Nevada (Reno) to the Oregon Air National Guard and retired in January 2007 after 37 years of service. I had been a pharmacy technician and continued doing that career after we moved. I went back to school at Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) receiving a Dental Hygiene Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. My experience working with a periodontist in Klamath Falls for 9 ½ years along with teaching at OIT for 3 years led me to focus on periodontitis. Helping patients problem solve to regain healthy oral hygiene in their busy lives has become my goal.
We are very blessed to have a son, daughter whom has just received her degree in dental hygiene and two dogs. When I am not at the office, we travel and spend time in the outdoors. I treasure time with family and friends for making lasting memories.

My name is Tiffany. I am a Dental Assistant at the office. I have worked in the dental field for a little over a year and have been employed by Dr. Meyerding since January 2009. I received my dental assisting education at SODAE, a local dental assisting school which is taught by Deb Silva. I received my EFDA certification in December 2009.
Prior to working in the dental field, I worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in various health care settings for 6 1/2 years. I feel a great deal of satisfaction working with the public in the health care field as I feel it gives my life meaning and a purpose.
When I am not working, I am usually engaged in some sort of family activity with my children. My interests include: shopping, road trips, comedy, music, shoes, movies, friends and family.

JULIE
|
My name is Julie and I am the newest addition to Dr. Meyerding's staff. I started working with Dr. Meyerding in November 2010. I am most likely the person that will have the pleasure of greeting you first when you walk in our door. I have worked in the dental field for over 15 years. I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I love this line of work. Great patients and a great staff to work with make it even better.
I moved back to the Rogue Valley in June 2010. My husband's employer has allowed our family to see some different parts of Oregon over the last 23 years and in our travels we have made alot of wonderful friends. The Rogue Valley is home to me, and almost all of our family is located here now.
I have 3 amazing children. Our oldest blessed us with a granddaughter this last July. We were able to make a road trip to Alaska to be there when she was born. Her husband is in the Air Force and they have recently been transferred to Minot, ND. Our son is a Sophomore in College and lives in the Salem area. He is a wonderful musician and loves to entertain. He will be famous someday I know! Our youngest is a Freshman in college this year and wants to follow her daddy's footsteps and be a state trooper in a few years. We are very proud of them all. It's been quite an adjustment having the kids gone, but my husband and I love this time in our lives and enjoy the time we have now to go on dates!
When I have spare time, I love to camp, go on long walks with my Boxer pup Dexter, play tennis, get to the gym whenever time allows and I am a fair weather runner. I love to play the piano, enjoy cooking, entertaining, painting, decorating and spending time with close friends and all my family.
